GivEnergy has long been committed to educational causes. As part of this commitment, GivEnergy invests over £0.5million a year in its not-for-profit daughter company, GivEducation. Now, with the strategic acquisition of Satori Education, GivEnergy has quickened the success of this daughter company.
GivEnergy x GivEducation
GivEducation is a subsidiary of GivEnergy – the UK’s leading battery storage manufacturer. So, what does a battery storage manufacturer have to do with school education?
Simply, GivEnergy’s founder is passionate about giving young people the start they deserve. As a student who was ill-served by the “sheep-dip” curriculum – but since gone on to achieve enormous success – our founder is passionate about supporting teachers to deliver improved individual learning outcomes for young people.
Out of this passion, GivEnergy’s daughter company was born.
GivEducation is working on delivering a software solution that will transform the way lessons are taught. Every student learns in a different way; processes information in a different way. However, it’s no mean feat for teachers to deliver personalised lessons that meet the unique needs of each of the 20-30 students in their classes.
Meanwhile, teacher workload is a constant challenge. Teachers can struggle with the volume of assigned work, while it can seem impossible to make classes adaptive to each individual student’s learning style.
Enter GivEducation. Through the use of cutting-edge technology, GivEducation is working to foster an environment where everyone can excel.
About Satori Education
Satori Education is a specialist edtech consultancy. It supports schools and MATS in optimising their edtech to transform teaching and learning. The end result? Moments of learning brilliance for students, teachers and schools.
So, GivEducation is working on a truly impactful edtech solution. Satori Education is making waves in empowering SLTs and edtech leaders with the skills, knowledge, and strategic insight they need to make the most of their edtech.
Together, the companies can revolutionise education: making it accessible and beneficial for all schools, teachers, and students.
Jason Howlett, GivEnergy Group CEO comments:
“At first glance, it can seem disconnected for an energy storage company like GivEnergy to have a daughter company focused on edtech.
However, if you look beneath the surface, we’re all about stimulating education – whether that’s through the summer schools we fund, the STEM projects we support in the classroom, the kit we donate to colleges, the work we undertake in fostering local skills, or any number of similar projects.
Educational causes are close to our heart, and we’re proud to continually invest in GivEducation. Acquiring Satori Education is an exciting milestone on GivEducation’s journey.”
Mogdam Osman, Director of GivEducation, comments:
“It’s incredibly exciting to acquire a company like Satori Education. Their experience, expert field knowledge, and proven success in the edtech space can only accelerate our mission to revolutionise education.
GivEnergy has already changed the world. We see no reason why GivEducation can’t do the same in its own space, and we’re glad to have Satori Education with us for the ride.”
Joe Basketts, Satori Education CEO and newly appointed Education Director at GivEducation, comments:
“I’m thrilled to be joining the GivEducation team and embarking on this joint journey. Our shared passion for improving education and making a real impact on the lives of young learners is what brought us together.
Together with GivEnergy, we can take edtech to new heights and truly transform the learning experience for students, teachers, and schools across the UK.”
